| 01/29/07 | • February is turning out to be a busy month on cable for me. In addition to Saul of the Mole Men another show I worked on will be airing. Season 4 of Crank Yankers will start to air on Feb 9th at 10pm. It's on MTV2 now, not comedy central. Spread the word. |
| 01/02/07 | • I'm working on a show Saul of the Mole Men right now for Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. It'll start airing on Feb 11th and the network has put the opening and beginning of the first episode online. The show is very funny (if it's your type of humor) and I recommend watching it. If you'd like to see what you'll soon no longer be missing out on you can check it out here: http://www.adultswim.com/shows/saul/index.html |
| 12/05/06 | • I don't like or endorse revver, the company mentioned 2 updates ago. It seems good in theory, but for the lack of quality that the movies receive they don't generate enough revenue (at least for me) to justify keeping the revverized versions on my site. I've reverted Love Hurts and the Switch Monkey to their original forms. Enjoy. |
| 11/14/06 | • I've updated my resume. Usually I do this silently but since there hasn't been much going on with my site lately I figured I'd announce it so people know things are still happening here...albeit slowly. |
| 10/03/06 | • I found out about a new company called REVVER. I'm testing it out to see if it's a good way to have my website pay for itself. If something about this does NOT work, please let me know. If it's not as compatible as the old way I've been putting videos up, then I'm not really interested. Here is a test, click the link at the end of this video to help me make some $$$:

| 09/01/06 | • I've added 3 pieces to my editing section: A 30 second Spike TV Tune-In for the movie CRANK, and a 30 second and a 10 second piece for the world premiere of Vanessa Hudgens' music video "Come Back To Me" on The Disney Channel. |
| 08/24/06 | • According to Google video, my parody of the Apple Computer switch campaign from 2002, Switch Monkey, is famous. It's been blown up and turned into a flash video so the quality is crap. Hit the link above to see it with better quality. It's good to know that monkey is still a star. I've said it before and I'll say it again... "people love monkeys" |
| 07/27/06 | • I've added a new section to the site: Editing. Not that it really needs any more explanation, but you can check it out to see some examples of my editing. |
| 07/12/06 | • Updates are not going to stay this frequent. However, I've finally decided to make my updated reel public because the new one is a hell of a lot better than the old one. Take a look HERE. |

• There is yet another new venue for stop motion on the web. I believe the idea is sort of a youtube for stop motion, and that site is mystopmo.com. I haven't looked at it in depth, but maybe someone out there is interested? |
| 03/05/06 | Exciting night at the Academy Awards • In 2001 the first Academy Award for Best Animated Feature was awarded. Tonight Aardman Animation received the Oscar for Best Animated Feature for Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit. Not only is this good for Aardman, but hopefully for the future of stop motion animation. Congratulations to all the artists who made this film happen! • Congratulations to John Canemaker, head of NYU's animation department and a former professor of mine, for receiving the Academy Award for Best Animated Short for his film The Moon and the Son: An Imagined Conversation. |
| 02/03/06 | • There's a new site in town. amafessional.com brought to you by idiotwork, jdfunari, and mindoverpixels. Check it out and be entertained (or not) weekly. |
| 01/26/06 | • "Real Life" getting in the way a bit, but no worries, new awesome work is on it's way. Some of it is all my own and some will be in association with idiotwork (now on my links page! ). |
| 01/02/06 | • It's a new year and a new update. I've moved around my old news and will be keeping it categorized by year from now on, with 2004 and 2005 being grouped together. A lot happened in 2005: I finished Illume (though it feels like it was finished longer than a year ago), I lived/worked in 3 of the worlds largest cities, and have met/worked with many talented people. I hope to do more of my own work this year and I can't wait to finally do some more stop motion. I don't have access to school equipment any more, but I'm going to start working on some of my own stop motion projects very very soon. Stay tuned for updates here as I hope to get some shorts done on a "semi-regular" basis this year. Hey, it might happen. Yesterday I built a new stop motion stage to work on. It has begun...
The new stop motion stage. |
